This is Bindi – a cute and quirky little beagle who ended up in a shelter when her human passed away. A nice lady rescued Bindi from the shelter and kept her safe until she came to her Midwest BREW foster home.
When Bindi first arrived at her foster home, she wasn’t very food motivated. We think she probably wasn't exposed to anything other than kibble in her previous home, but her tastes have changed, and she is now a connoisseur of cookies and snacks!
Although she's little, Bindi has a big personality, and she loves people and other dogs. She would love a forever home with a fenced yard and a playmate that will keep up with her – when she plays with other dogs, she plays hard! (Cats wouldn’t make good companions for Bindi, however.) You'll also need some
good, sturdy toys because this little girl loves to chew.
While Bindi is quiet during car rides, she doesn’t really enjoy them. Walks are another story, though! In typical beagle fashion, walks are a stop and go process because there are so many smells to be checked out, and Bindi will potty on a leash. Speaking of pottying, Bindi was diagnosed with a bladder stone and
crystals in her urine, so she’ll need to be on a prescription diet for the rest of her life to maintain her good health.
Bindi does not tolerate being crated, but never fear – she is reliably housebroken. When it’s time to turn in for the evening, she likes to sleep in the big bed with the humans or in a dog bed in the same room with them.
If you’d like to learn more about this darling little girl, please contact Midwest BREW.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
