Meet Rita!
Born June 2023

Rita is a mama of four kids who have grown up and moved out all on their own lol Rita does love her alone time but her favorite thing to do is to follow you from room to room to room to room to room! The next favorite thing for her is to tell you all about her day by nonstop chatter. Rita loves to be smothered with attention but if she's preoccupied playing with a mouse or the laser light she'll let you know that she is in the zone with a good flick of her tail. Rita gets along with calm and mellow dogs along with polite cats of all ages. loud younger children may be overstimulating for Rita so it would be best for her to be in a home with no children under the age of 10. You can find usually find Rita sunbathing in most windows.

Tender Loving Cats is a foster based rescue, we require that you apply and be an approved applicant before meeting the cat/kitten(s) in foster homes. We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY. To make an appointment a potential adopter should email meetthekitties@tenderlovingcats.org or leave us a message on the volunteer hotline at 1-866-458-8228(ILUVCATS) Ext 1.
