Sina (a yellow-naped Amazon) and Tui (a yellow-headed Amazon) are a bonded pair of adult females who are deeply in love with each other and deeply uninterested in you. They are rude. They are loud. They are obnoxious. They have opinions, and those opinions are mostly about how you’re doing everything wrong.

They will:
Yell at you for no reason
Call you names (creatively)
Make a huge mess and absolutely not help clean it up
Scream like they’re throwing a party you weren’t invited to
Occasionally make out in front of you just to establish dominance

They will not:
Be friendly
Want cuddles
Respect your personal space, sleep schedule, or emotional well-being

Sina & Tui are fully bonded, meaning they must stay together. They don’t need you for entertainment — they have each other, and frankly, that’s more than enough. You are merely the landlord who supplies snacks and audacity.

We cannot tell you if he would be a match for your family without seeing an application, but if/when your application is approved, we can set up a meet and greet with the foster in person or over video or phone so that you can both determine if it is a good match for both Frank and your family. Our goal is not to quickly adopt out animals but rather to find the perfect placement for every animal in our care.

We are happy to consider applicants from out of state on most animals. Please read the description to see if this bird is an exception. If the applicant is approved to adopt, they MUST be willing to come to our location in Troy, VA, for a meet and greet. If all parties agree that the bird and family are a good fit, they would take the bird home at that time.
