My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Drogo!

Drogo is a sweet, affectionate pup with a big heart and a playful spirit. He loves belly rubs, scratches, and especially relaxing massages, which help him unwind and show off his softer side. Drogo does best with a steady routine and enjoys having a predictable day where he knows what to expect.

He’s dog friendly and enjoys rough-and-rowdy play with other dogs, but also loves quieter moments—snuggling up, relaxing, and sleeping in bed with his people. Drogo has lived with other dogs in foster and was mostly potty trained there. Outside the kennel, he can be calmer and enjoys taking in his surroundings once he’s settled.

Drogo is continuing to make great progress and is showing how loving and loyal he can be. With the right home, this charming pup is ready to be a devoted companion.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
