My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Drogo!

Drogo is a smart, spirited pup who is discovering how to balance his big energy with calm moments. He enjoys belly rubs, scratches, and relaxing massages, which help him decompress and reset. Drogo thrives on routine and does best when he knows what to expect—structure helps him shine.

Drogo already knows sit and enjoys using his brain with pattern games, treats, and gentle training sessions. Outside, he often shows his softer side, enjoying sniffy walks and relaxed exploration. He’s dog friendly and enjoys rough-and-rowdy play with canine pals who match his style.

Drogo would do best in an adult-only home with someone who understands puppy energy and is excited to keep building on his foundation skills. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, this dragon-hearted pup is ready to become a loyal and loving companion.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
