My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a dog who makes every day brighter? Meet Wyatt. ?? This 30-lb sweetheart has a gift for making humans feel loved—whether he’s leaning in for pets, flashing his goofy grin, or curling up by your side.
He’s the kind of pup who adds joy to walks, warmth to quiet nights, and laughter to backyard playtime. With Wyatt, you don’t just get a dog—you get a best friend who loves with his whole heart. ??

More about this shelter

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.

BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
