My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Peachy is a petite and gentle snuggler around 40lbs who loves to please her people.  She gets so excited over treats and will give you endless "paw"s and kisses as a thank you!  She is fully potty trained, and low energy.  She loves to sleep in bed with her humans, but will sleep in her crate peacefully too if needed!

My Back Story: Peachy came to Waldo's Rescue from Georgia, where she was used by civilians for unethical breeding.  After giving birth Peach was found on a chain with no food or water.  She is currently in foster care loving all the fresh water and treats that her eyes can see!

Would Benefit Most From:  Peachy would be most happy in a home with a yard in a quiet neighborhood. Her perfect forever family would be patient with her to help her get comfortable with new people and dogs. They'd also give excellent chin scratches and snuggle her endlessly. She enjoys being in the car so is a great contenstant for road trips. Every now and again she gets excited with her foster siblings and will engage in the zoomies of fetch!

Personality & Characteristics:  Peach's most favorite activitiy is cuddling with her human at any chance possible!  She is a people pleaser and very quickly learned sit and paw!

Good with: Her people and her foster dog siblings!

My foster dog is: excited but nervous to meet her forever family!

3 Keywords for your pup: Cuddlebug, Loyal, Smart

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 4-5 she is adaptable, after a long walk or a hike she would be passed out for the next 24 hours!

Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet!

Walking Manners: She walks with a gentle leader and does best when in a low traffic area. She can get overstimulated in busy areas, but we're working on it and making progress!

Appetite: Easy to please, will eat just about anything! Currently eats kibble mixed with Farmer's Dog

Favorite Things: Snuggling,  play time, treats!

Commands/Tricks: Currently knows "sit" and "paw", is mastering "down" and is excited learn more with her new family!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
