Born February 26, 2022 Calder is a Husky/Pitbull mix who is as sweet as can be! His foster mom describes him as a big baby. He is the happiest and cuddliest dog who loves attention and to give hugs. Calder loves being with his people or other dogs in the family. He’s very well behaved and chill. He is crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. Calder prefers to sleep with his people or on a dog bed. He is seeking a cat free home and would do best in a home with another canine companion of similar size and a home that is willing to continue training to make him a good canine citizen and grow into the best dog he can be. We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
