Meet Jack! He was born around October 10, 2024 and is a male Chihuahua mix. Jack has a big personality and is nicknamed Wiggle Butt by his foster family. When he gets excited his whole body wags. He is slow to warm up to new people, but once he knows you he is all love. He is not much of a cuddler, and prefers his own space. He would love a home with other dogs to play with, having a confident canine companion to show him the world is FUN! He is mostly potty trained. His foster family is working on getting him to go outside in the rain. He will use a potty pad in the house if outside is dark or wet (typical small dog). We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
