I spend walks with my nose to the ground and playtime in the yard racing and wrestling with my foster siblings. I survived parvo but am now healthy and ready for my furever home. Per my Husky roots I’m a classic conversationalist so an apartment would not be a good place for me. I’m medium-high energy and love having a like energy canine housemate but with proper physical/mental exercise could be a solo pup. Food is highly motivational to me though I will also accept praise. I’m potty trained and crate trained; I’m crated while my foster family is at work. I’m exuberant so kids over 5 are recommended, a 6ft fence is a must, and cats are unknown. We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families.
