Violet (“Vivi”) came to CARE in July 2025 as a shy, scared and very pregnant stray. Vivi was a very attentive, loving, and playful mama. All of Vivi’s kittens were adopted quickly but Vivi has been in foster since July, with the exception of a short 2-week stay at the shelter.
In all that time, Vivi hasn’t had one single application. 🥺 RUDE!
Here are a few of the beautiful and special things about Violet:
💜 Vivi LOVES to play. She played with her kittens a lot, and now plays with all of the resident cats in her foster home - she especially loves to attack and chase the other cats’ tails. She also enjoys wand toys and catnip bananas, running zoomies, chasing and being chased by her cats friends, and playing with random pieces of lint on the stairs - Violet is big kitten vibes!
💜 Vivi is beautiful! Like Dolly Parton, she has a Coat of Many Colors! You like brown tabbies? Vivi is your girl. You like orange tabbies? Vivi is your girl. You like creamy soft buff bellies? Vivi is your girl! She even has a tabby tail with streaks of orange that run through it!
💜 Violet LOVES food. No finicky or picky drama here. Kibble food, wet stinky food, licky treats, crunchy treats, Vivi likes - nay, loves - it all.
💜 Violet is very sweet and a bit shy still - we don’t know what her life was like in the streets as a stray and all the scary things she experienced - but she is getting more and more comfortable and outgoing everyday and has shown that she is very interested in being part of a family and involved in running the household!
