Hey there! I’m Friend, and I’m ready to find my forever home. My story started out a little bumpy, but now I’m just waiting for the right person (or family!) to love. I’m the gentlest, sweetest kitten you’ll ever meet—a total pro at cuddling and soaking up attention. If you’ve got kids, I’ll be their new sidekick. If not, I’ll happily be your best buddy.
I’m not one of those wild kittens who zooms around the house all day. Think of me as a little flower: I’ll bat a toy around for fun, then curl up for a cozy nap nearby. I love to play, but I’m all about the chill life.
My rescuers think someone threw me from a car, and when they found me, my leg was broken in two places. A wonderful surgeon fixed me up with pins and plates—he even did it for free! Now my leg is as good as new, and I’m loving this safe, comfy life.
I’m a litter box pro, super easygoing, and honestly, I’m just looking for a soft spot to nap and someone to give me head scratches. I get along great with kids and other cats, and I don’t mind dogs (as long as they’re not too in-my-face).

Someone will contact you to discuss the adoption process and set up a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in. All potential adopters will be subject to a home visit.
We have an adopt one get one special with our kitties as we feel all kitties should have a buddy!
Kittens (under 12 months) $100*
Cats (12 months and older) $65*
Senior cats $45*
All Felines are combo tested, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine and have received Revolution for flea and earmite treatment.
Puppies (under 12 months) - $350*
Dog (12 months and older) - $225*
Senior Dogs - $100*
All Canines are HW tested (if over 6 months old), vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, are on monthly flea and heartworm prevention, and also have a current Butler County dog license.
*Joseph's Legacy reserves the right to raise or lower adoption fees on certain animals. These adjusted fees will normally be added to the individual animal's profile. If there are any concerns about the adoption fee please verify with the adoption coordinator that has contacted you.

Joseph's Legacy is a foster based non-profit animal rescue that advocates for animals that have been neglected and abused. We also help find homes for homeless and abandoned animals. We are comprised of and run by primarily volunteers, and rely heavily on the love and support from our community to continue our mission.
