My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Ginseng, a sweet and sensitive little lady with a gentle heart and a hint of sass. She can be shy at first, especially around fast-moving feet — walking humans are a bit suspicious in her eyes. But give her some time and patience, and she’ll reward you with warm lap snuggles and the softest purrs when she’s in the mood for affection. Ginseng has a chatty side and isn’t afraid to let you know when she wants attention — especially if another cat is getting the love she thinks she deserves. A little jealous? Maybe. A lot lovable? Definitely. She adores playtime and proudly carries her toys around like prized treasures. Behind her bashful exterior is a playful, affectionate soul just waiting to bond with someone special.

Ginseng and her litter were terrified when they were found. But she is working really hard in her Foster home to be brave and social. Her fearful nature kicks in with a change in environment, but her desire for pets and snuggles eventually overcomes. It is reported that in her first Foster home, she was snuggling with the resident cats. In her second Foster home, she did not appreciate being housed with other Foster kittens and protested on a daily basis for the first week. Once she feels safe and secure though, her sweet little personality brightly shines through. Please consider giving this little girl a chance. A home with an experienced cat owner would be best to help boost her confidence.

All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines.

Contact kittens@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or call 610-432-2532 ext 4 for more info about Ginseng and the adoption process. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. If you rent please also provide a copy of your rental agreement showing pet allowance. Please bring your own carrier.
