Hi, my name is Kittie. I am a long hair Tabico, which means I am part Tabby and part Calico. I am mostly black with tan markings, and white and cream highlights. I have very soft fur, a fluffy tail and white tuffs of fur in my ears. My approximate birthdate is April 10, 2025. I am an inquisitive kitten who loves to explore and check things out. I also love chasing soft balls, toy springs and trying to catch flies. Climbing cat poles, running through the cat tunnel and chasing the laser light is great fun too. I am also a “cuddle bug.” I love laying on my Foster Mom’s lap while she watches TV. And when I am really happy, I lay on my back, so she can pet my tummy and I start purring, a lot! Sometimes I try and “meow” but nothing comes out. Maybe when I get bigger I will have a voice. I eat mainly dry food. I just like a small amount of wet food at breakfast and sometimes dinner. I am a little cautious when something is new, but I come around pretty quickly. I am not good being alone; therefore I need to have an animal friend to be with. So, I must be adopted together with another kitten or into a home that already has another kitten or a cat. I have not been around any dogs. Not sure if I would like that, but might be willing to try.
All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines.
