Hello everybodeeeeeeeee! It is I, Grover!
I’m an young, adorable Double Merle Great Dane. And just like the lovable blue monster, I have a few special quirks – I am Deaf, but I can see even though my eyes are starburst, and I do see some shadowing. But my ability to connect with my surroundings is incredible.
Unlike my Sesame Street namesake, I don’t have his endless confidence... I am a little shy and timid at first, but don’t let that fool you — I’m a Super Grover in the making! I have a gentle personality that’s ready to shine once I feel safe, and I’m on the lookout for a loving home where I can grow and gain confidence.
My story hasn’t been easy — I was a stray, living on the streets, and that’s made me a little cautious. I need a bit of time to trust new people, and it takes me a moment to warm up to new situations. But once you’ve earned my trust, you’ll see just how much love and loyalty I have to give!
I’m looking for a forever home with a medium or large doggie companion who can be my guide and best friend. I need a buddy to help me feel safe and build my confidence. Like the Sesame Street crew, a good friend can make all the difference!
My training is a work in progress, and I’ll need patience and guidance. But if you’re looking for a pal who’ll grow with you and become your loyal partner, I’m your guy! While I’m not a superhero yet, with time and training, I know I’ll develop into the best sidekick you could ask for.

White Kisses requires all dogs to be in training within thirty days of adoption. Training is crucial for dogs to learn lifelong skills and to understand their place in the family pack. It is also essential part of getting to know each other and to help your pup become a well-mannered GREAT Dane!

Submit Application
Submit an online application. (All questions must be answered.) Allow 2-5 days to process. We do all vet and reference checks.
Interview
A White Kisses representative will call you to discuss your application and which dog(s) will be the best fit for your home (if approved).
Home Check
A home check is required prior to final application approval.
Pay Fee
Upon paying the adoption donation, we'll assist in arranging pick up/transport in TX. (Outside of TX, adopter must arrange at their expense.
Sign Adoption Contract
Prior to receiving your Great Dane, you must sign an adoption contract - agreeing to the requirements and expectations for care of your Dane
