Hello, my name is beans and I am a 5 month old pineapple Green Cheek Conure, I was purchased by an irresponsible owner who wanted to get a first pet for their child and their child lost interest in me in a matter of days. I was then taken to another pet store where I was given an improper diet of Canary food and forced to be in a tiny parakeet cage. I was at handled by people and became scared and withdrawn until my rescuer stepped in and brought me home where I was given a proper diet of appropriate birdseed blend with fresh fruits and veggies daily I have recently been introduced to quinoa, which I absolutely love and now I’m enjoying the many flavors of Birdstreet Bistro! I started recall flight training and I have been socializing very well with other birds both bigger and smaller than me, I am not shy at all I jump right in ready to make new friends, I am very sweet and just want to be involved in everything you do day and night from when you get up in the morning and get ready I like to be in the bathroom and just hang out with you. I will fly to you for any treat, including a simple unsalted sunflower Seed. I love to be pet and I love to be carried around the house. I’m used to friendly dogs and cats who have been socialized with small birds, I am fearless and I love to explore. I didn’t have the best beginning, but I know my future is bright so if you think I would make a great addition to your flock, please schedule a time to meet with me.
