Blizzard was rescued from a rural shelter with her four kittens. She was TERRIFIED and they actually thought she was feral! Turns out, she was protective of her babies, scared, and overstimulated in the shelter environment. Once she made it into a foster home and had a chance to decompress, she turned out to be a sweet, affectionate, and loving girl!
Blizzard has been an amazing mama. Even once her own kittens were weaned, she took on several young orphans, cleaning, snuggling, and loving them. However, her protective streak is very strong, and she has decided that other adult cats are a big no-no.
Now that Blizzard’s babies have been adopted and moved on, we can find her a perfect cozy home with no other cats, where she can enjoy being the perfect queen she is! She’s still fairly young, likely around two or three years old… aka old enough to be calm and well behaved, but young enough to still be playful!
The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below.
Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $150 adoption donation. If you are adopting two cats at once, it is a total of $250. (it is tax deductible!)
All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized.
We require a meet and greet with all potential adopters, a home visit and a vet reference (if applicable).

Interview
We take this time to talk about your home & what you are looking for as well as letting you know more about the animals we have in our care

Home Check
The home check is completed simultaneously with the virtual interview in a Zoom call.

Approve Application
Once your application is approved, the next step is to meet the pet!

Meet the Pet
You have the option at this point to pay a deposit of half the adoption donation to hold the pet until you can schedule a meeting.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
We do all adoption contracts digitally and you will receive an esign document along with all the pets records.

Pay Fee
Pay the full adoption fee or if a deposit was paid previously, then the second half is due at this time.

For dogs, we have a $360 adoption fee and all dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, wormed, microchipped, heart worm tested and on preventative before adoption. This also includes a one-hour virtual training with Lucky Dogs training to ensure a seamless transition for both you and your new pup!
For cats, we have a $150 adoption fee and all cats are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, wormed, microchipped, and feline leukemia tested before adoption.

Our rescue is a little different in the fact that we work very hard to be a “match maker” with potential homes. If it does not work out with the pet you applied for, we would love to help your family find the next right match! None of our animals are in a shelter environment but rather living with a foster family in a home environment. Additionally, all of our animals have a 30 day minimum stay in their foster home before we even list them as available for adoption. This is so we can make sure we know as much as we can about their behaviors, likes, dislikes, quirks and habits before we try and place them in a forever home.
