Born to a local stray mom and brought into Anderson Humane with her siblings, Misty didn’t have much early socialization with humans, which means she’s still learning what people are all about. In her foster home, she took her time observing the world from a safe distance—watching humans move, listening to their voices, and slowly piecing together the idea that people can be gentle, predictable, and kind. She’s not quite ready for physical contact yet, but she’s showing steady progress, offering tiny glimpses of trust as she learns at her own thoughtful pace.

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives.
