Apricot is a gorgeous orange-and-white kitten full of energy, silliness, and spicy little zoomies. She’s always inventing games, chasing shadows, or turning the nearest sock into a wrestling match—she brings the party wherever she goes.
But when it comes to people? Apricot is still figuring things out. She tends to run when approached and isn’t quite sure how to accept love just yet. She’s not aggressive—just unsure. With time, patience, and a calm home, we think she has great potential to come around.
She does great with other cats and would love to be adopted with a confident kitten buddy to help show her the ropes. She especially enjoys playing with friends like Java, Simon, Peach, Steve, and Gilbert.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
