Meet Luna! She is: potty, crate, and leash trained, knows “sit” and “come”, rides great in the car, food motivated, eager to please, and a snuggle bug. She loves other dogs, cats, and kiddos!
𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: Our sweet and petite pocket potato was found as a stray in the aftermath of the tornado, and sadly no one has come for her :(
We can tell life has not been kind to her based on the terrible at home crop job that left one of her ears almost non-existent, but she is kind to everyone <3 Dogs, cats, kids—you name it, Luna will befriend it. She was timid and unsure at first, but has fully come out of her shell and loves to ham it up for attention. She does the cutest woo-woo, and will lean in for the good pets. She is such a gentle soul and a great example of how unconditional a dog’s love be is.
She is heartworm positive and currently going through treatment with her medical foster hero. She will need a long-term foster post treatment OR even better, a foster to adopt home! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁? You foster Luna with all medical care covered by us until she tests negative for heartworms. This process can take a while, even when she’s finished treatment so we’d love for her to settle into furever while we wait!
