Cora is a spaniel mix with the softest ears and an even softer heart. While she’s naturally a little shy at first, this sweet girl tries so hard to be brave—and it shows. Once she knows you're safe, she’ll gently nuzzle in for belly rubs and happily glue herself to your side like the loyal companion she’s meant to be.

Cora is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. She’s not quite ready for leash walks yet, so a fenced yard is a must while she works on gentle, positive exposure to the outside world. With time and support, she'll learn the leash isn’t so scary—she just needs someone to help her at her own pace.

Cora would do best in a quieter home where she can be the star, but she can live with cats and may be okay with other calm, respectful animals with slow introductions. Right now, she just needs a little extra support while she builds trust in her surroundings.

She’s food-motivated once she feels safe, especially when soft treats or canned food are involved—those are her favorite! She’s also working on becoming more comfortable with new people and unfamiliar sights and sounds. With the right person and environment, Cora will continue to blossom into the sweet, loyal companion she’s meant to be.

Cora is estimated to be 10.5 months old and 19 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
