My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is loving, playful, and snuggly. She loves meeting people at adoption events. She wants to soak up all the love and attention she can get and with those long velvety hound ears it's hard to resist.
Lily is house trained, crate trained, walks well on the leash and rides well in the car. She is not as vocal as some of her other hound relatives, but she is very food motivated. She has integrated well with the multiple dogs in her foster home and enjoys playing and snuggling up with them. She does well with dogs at events or on walks. She will need a structured and supervised integration to understand her place and the new rules if she will be joining a home with other resident dogs but once she understands the rules and what is expected of her, she thrives.
Lily is a shining example of how a dog can flourish and thrive given the proper environment and tools to succeed. What Lily wants more than anything else is someone to love her. She needs someone that will continue to work with her on training and setting firm boundaries so that she can be her best self and set her up to succeed. Currently she would do best in a home with adults or older children only without too much coming and going.
Lilly is not a fan of crowded noisy areas, so apartments and condos are not ideal situations for her. **a foster to adopt trial is available to ensure she is a good fit for your home.
