DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Take a look at this handsome boy! Koda is a young spirited fella with a very friendly and amiable nature. As a large dog, Koda thrives on being outdoors and loves his walks. He really likes other dogs and tries to play with every dog he sees along the way. He does OK with kids too, but would do best in a home without cats. Koda loves his food, but he can get a little protective around it, especially when other dogs are around. This means he'd do best in a home where he's the only dog. He is also housebroken and crate trained. Koda is ready to find a home where he can share his loyalty and playful spirit with a family who will cherish him forever. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
