My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hungry Hippo – The Ultimate Lovebug in a Tuxedo!

Don’t let the name fool you – Hungry Hippo isn’t just hungry for treats, he’s starving for affection! This dashing tuxedo gentleman is the full package: affectionate, gentle, and full of personality. A true lap cat, Hungry Hippo adores cuddling, belly rubs, and chin scratches — and he’ll gladly meow to remind you if you're slacking on the attention!

Whether he’s giving you headbutts or curling up on your lap, this sweetheart lives to love and be loved. His calm, sweet nature makes him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal, snuggly best friend. If you're looking for a cat who’s as affectionate as he is handsome, Hungry Hippo is ready to fill your home — and your heart — with love.

Ready to meet your new best friend? Hungry Hippo is waiting for you!

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
