Meet the Pet
This helps Rescue330 with pet care costs.
Meet Darla! She’s a 1-year-old shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a kind heart. While she can be shy in new situations, she’ll win you over with her sweet and tender kisses. At around 35 pounds, she’s working on gaining a bit more weight, but her loving personality is already fully formed.
Darla is a kind, affectionate girl who enjoys playing chase with other dogs, exploring the yard, and relaxing at your feet. She gets along well with other dogs and especially loves running and playing with them. She knows “sit,” walks nicely on a leash when she’s feeling confident, and may occasionally jump up when excited—but she’s never pushy. She is, however, not a fan of the vacuum! A calm and patient home would be the ideal match for her gentle nature.
When meeting new people, Darla may be shy at first but warms up quickly—often within the hour. She just needs a little time to assess her new friends. She hasn’t met cats yet, and slow introductions are recommended.
Darla is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
Adoption Fee: $250
