Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 18-Oct-2024
Krokmou is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.
Krokmou is a very fluffy, very friendly, very CLEVER boy with a mischievous streak. His fur is luxuriously soft and his tail is like a feather duster. He loves to be picked up and held in a baby cradle and will purr and make air biscuits the entire time.
He loves to roll on his back and purr loudly, especially after he’s done something naughty. It’s his way of saying “who, me?” as if he hadn’t just finished committing crimes like jumping on your desk and walking all over the keyboard. Or jumping onto your computer tower and pressing the power button in the middle of a game. He is still learning his size and will sometimes roll over on the edge of a table or chair and fall off if you don’t catch him.
One of his many quirks is turning his head all the way around to face you, even if it means he ends up falling over. Another is the way he uses the litterbox. He buries his poop, but digs like a maniac to the bottom of the litterbox, kicking litter out and getting it all over his head. A high-sided litterbox might be ideal for him.
He’d rather be an owl than turn his body. He loves playing with his sisters but can be a bit rough and gets scolded by them. He’s learned to be a bit gentler but may need to continue learning boundaries as he grows. He doesn’t really meow so much as trill constantly. His trills are very high and super cute!
He knows the command “sit” and “shake” and can probably learn way more if you want to teach him. He’s super smart and picks things up very fast. He learned the “coin trick” in a few minutes, and he’s taught himself and his foster parent how to play fetch! When he wants to play he will drop a toy in front of you to throw!
Like most kittens, anything and everything is a toy to him. Paper balls are a favourite for him since he can pick them up and carry them around.
He’s an adventurous boy and has escaped his foster home into the hallway a few times, strutting confidently with tail held high. He doesn’t seem to have any fear of strangers and will go up for pets.
He’ll be a perfect fit for someone who wants a super smart cat who also wants to snuggle, with a little bit of dog in him! He would be thrilled to be adopted with Celine or Belle- or both if you’re interested in your own little clowder! Or to a home with a friendly feline.
