A.J. was adopted from us 4 years ago but sadly had to be returned due to resource guarding behaviors. He is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a fresh start.
A.J. is loving, loyal, and calm most of the time—he enjoys his walks, loves being near his people, and has the kind of quiet charm that makes him easy to fall for. However, he does have severe resource guarding and separation anxiety, and he has a bite history. Because of this, he needs a low-traffic home with dog experience and patience.
A.J. isn’t for everyone—but for the right person, he could be an incredibly rewarding companion. He just needs someone who understands his boundaries and is willing to put in the time and structure he deserves.
