Meet Tuck!
Tuck was surrendered to another rescue and then transferred to us when the other rescue asked if we could take him in, so we did.
He is very friendly, but also a little nervous at first, with all the changes in his life. I mean the poor guy was in a home for nearly all of his life and then all the sudden his not! He is handling it very well though! I just want to find him a home that will dote on him and spoil him as he deserves!
He has quite a bit playful energy for his age, so a similar home environment would be good. He is great with most other dogs, and older kids. If cats run, he will chase (so no cats). Tuck is terrified of storms, so I like to keep a loud box fan running and a TV on and he seems to be ok.
He must have a secure fence as he is not a fan of walks. Another dog around his size to play with is needed, because he tends to get bored if it’s just humans around.
Tucks birthday is 11-6-14. He weighs around 15 pounds. His last bloodwork was done in November 2024, and it looked great! He is neutered, current on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm prevention.
The adoption fee is $150
Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life.

Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply.
