My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blu is a sweet girl who absolutely wants to be with her humans. Some Siberians are aloof but not Blu. She adores her people and is happiest surrounded by them. She is good with other dogs as well. Blu can pull quite a bit on the leash so she will need someone physically strong for walkies.
Blu came in to a shelter after her owner lost their home. It was obvious she was a very well loved dog. She has nice manners and is just looking to find stability, love and a family again.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To begin our adoption process you must fill out an application on our website. Once entered it will be reviewed, your references will be contacted and it will be assigned to a volunteer to do a home visit. Our volunteer will arrange a day and time that will be convenient for your family. They will write a report based on the meeting and submit it to our Adoption Committee where a decision will be made. Our fees currently are $195 for younger dogs (7 months - 5 years), $150 (for senior dogs (6 years and older) and $300 for puppies (6 months and younger), All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization devoted to rehoming abandoned, abused, stray and neglected purebred Siberian Huskies through a network of foster homes. We evolved from a small group of caring individuals in September 1998 and have expanded to encompass multiple states. We are an all volunteer organization with no paid employees. We rescue Siberian Huskies from various shelters and foster them until we can find them a loving forever home. Because we do not own a building we are always looking for foster homes to save even more dogs since we constantly have a waiting list of dogs to come into our rescue. No dog is ever turned away because of medical needs so we can spend thousands of dollars on a dog to get them ready for adoption because they were heartworm positive, hit by a car, set on fire, shot at, had internal damage and the list goes on. We have saved over 1400 Siberian Huskies since we started.
