Ranni is a sweet, long-legged Great Dane/Lab mix who is ready for a home where she can feel settled and secure. She recently spent a weekend in a foster home and did very well, showing that she’s much more comfortable in a home environment than in the busy shelter. Ranni truly enjoys being around people and wants nothing more than to be included in daily life, whether that means hanging out nearby or relaxing in the same room as her humans.
She is eager to please and responds best to gentle guidance and consistency. Ranni is still working on her leash manners and would benefit from continued basic training, but her willingness to learn and her people-focused nature make her a great candidate for an adopter who enjoys building a bond through time and routine.
Ranni has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines as well as flea and heartworm prevention. As with all New Leash dogs, she must be primarily indoors with supervised outdoor time.
Her adoption fee is $75. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be close to her people and will thrive in a calm, patient home, Ranni may be the perfect fit. 🐾

More about this rescue
New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.
Our goals include the following:
To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.
To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.
To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.
To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.
To find good homes for the animals in our care.
Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
