This tiny Cavapoo puppy came from one of the worst mills we’ve ever encountered—covered in hundreds of ticks and in desperate need of help. He sat calmly for hours while we gently removed them, even falling asleep in our arms. That sweet, trusting nature is just who he is.
Garfield has the best demeanor: calm, affectionate, and eager to learn. He’s a typical puppy in all the best ways—playful, curious, full of tail wags, and happiest when being carried around like a baby. He loves toys, exploring the yard, and sticking close to his people. He will follow you everywhere—brushing your teeth, grabbing the mail, gardening...he’s always ready to be your little helper.
He’s currently learning crate training and sleeping 6–7 hours overnight with just a quick early-morning reassurance before settling back in. He’s great in the car, fantastic at the vet, and has already had multiple baths without a whimper—he’ll be a groomer’s dream!
Garfield would do best in a home with kids (preferred) or a playful canine buddy. He wants to be treated like part of the family and thrives on attention. He’s not suitable for someone with mobility issues—he’s constantly underfoot and follows closely wherever you go.
He is not neutered due to his age, and a neuter contract is required. Leia’s Hope will reimburse $200 toward his neuter once completed at 6 months of age.
