Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Parker is an adorable 11-month-old Pomsky with a soft coat, a sweet heart, and about 16 pounds of love to give. He’ll be fully vetted through us before adoption and is ready to start fresh with someone who can show him just how good life can be.
Parker doesn’t ask for much. He’s not especially interested in other dogs and finds cats a little intimidating. What he does want is connection. A calm, adult home would probably suit him best, especially with a single person or a couple who have the time and patience to build trust at his pace.
He’s treat-motivated, playful, affectionate, and full of potential. Once you’re in his circle, you’ll have a loyal little sidekick who just wants to be near you.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
