Meet Bo! He prefers Beau, though, because he wants to court everyone. He is a lover. Typical border collie traits - intelligent, self confident, loving, and career oriented (seriously, give this dog a job and he’ll crush it). Bo fancies himself a top dog. He generally gets along well with other pups—as long as they don’t challenge his title. As for cats, the jury’s still out. Bo walks fairly well on a leash and is so sweet. This gorgeous boy is is also a total love bug who lives to please. Want to train him to get you a beer from the fridge? You probably could. He is smart, engaging, and funny. Bo adores his chew toys (sometimes to the point of destruction—RIP, squeaky duck), and has a talent for counter surfing, so watch those cookies! Bo has it all: handsome, sweet, smart, and endlessly entertaining. He is ready to be your partner, your shadow, and your best friend. Bo is about 1-2 years old and 60 pounds. Please help Bo find the loving home that he deserves.
Update: Bo had bilateral entropion repair of his eyelids on 8/28. Entropion is a benign condition of the eyelid where it turns inward so that the eyelashes irritate the cornea. Bo has had his post op vet check and has healed well. The vet also said the remaining stitches will dissolve on its own in about a week which is a good thing because Bo was not a fan of going to the vet, LOL! Bo is ready to go home and start his new life with you!

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Bo's adoption fee is $425. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, microchipping and vetting.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
