Meet Dusty

This lovely eight-month-old Russian Blue is a sweet, gentle soul who prefers to take her time getting to know you—because once she chooses you, it’s for keeps. She’s a thoughtful, intelligent kitty (she likes to inspect things carefully!) with a calm curiosity that makes her extra special.

She enjoys playing with her favorite toys, then settling into her chosen cozy spot for a well-earned catnap. Independent yet affectionate, she truly offers the best of both worlds—happy to do her own thing, but always ready to share quiet moments and soft purrs with her person.

This sweet girl would thrive in a calmer, quieter home with older children where she can feel safe, respected, and adored at her own pace. If you’re looking for a loving companion who values trust, comfort, and connection, she may be your perfect match.

Submit Application

All applicants must be prepared to provide proof of home ownership or a lease showing the pet will be allowed in the home

2.
Approve Application

applicant will need to provide photos of the property detailing fencing and overall yard. More may be required

3.
Interview

Interviews may be done in person or on the phone or at time of meet and greet.

PETCO - CATS
Cat and kitten adoptions EVERY Saturday from 1-4pm and at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

PETCO - DOGS
Dog and puppy adoptions EVERY Saturday from 12:00-4:00 at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
