Sweet Lulu is a snuggler extraordinaire! She’s at her happiest when she can spend quality time with her people. At 7 years old and 34 pounds, Lulu is a low-to-medium energy dog. She gets along well with both dogs and cats.

Lulu will sleep anywhere, be it in a dog bed, on a couch or on a people bed. She’s even been known to sleep on the floor, but she prefers to curl up with foster mom when it’s bedtime.

Like most beagles, Lulu loves her food, but she has good manners and will wait for her dish. She tends to inhale her kibble, so her new family might find a slow feeder bowl to be useful in getting her to eat more slowly.

When it’s time to visit the dog park, Lulu wiggles in anticipation! She’s quite the social butterfly, and her self-appointed job is to greet all of the dogs and people that come to the park when she’s there. She rides well in the car, so all of those trips to the dog park are a breeze!

Lulu’s foster home has a fenced yard for her to play in, and she is very well-behaved – you won’t find this girl trying to scale the fence or dig under it.

Lulu is housetrained. When her foster family goes out, she and the resident dog have the run of the house, and they take a leisurely nap while the family is gone. Lulu is usually very quiet, but she doesn’t hesitate to voice her happiness when her foster mom and grandma come home! When it’s time for a walk after foster mom gets home, Lulu walks very nicely on a leash.
