Yogi and Booboo are a 5 year old, Peekapoo breed, devoted brother/sister duo who have spent their whole lives together. They do everything together, shoulder-to-shoulder. They especially love rushing outside to explore the lawns and sneaking upstairs to go into “forbidden” guest rooms. They are both really smart (they quickly learned not to chase the chickens!) and they come when called. They were not properly house trained and have gotten used to using pee pads (or rugs) indoors so they don’t ask to go out. They will potty outside, but they’ve continued to have accidents indoors. Their best-loved treat is to go in the car! They leap into the car at the first hint of an invitation, but then they ride quietly for the whole trip, hopping out excitedly when they get home. Yogi loves water (in the stream and pond), and Booboo is happy to watch him swim. Both dogs hate hot weather—on sunny days you’ll find them in deep shade under the bushes. They get along well with other dogs, and they love to snuggle with a human. They have been taking longer and longer walks (on their leash) because they are a bit out of shape and need exercise. But with their cheerful attitude, a walk is just another excuse to sniff everything and be happy. They had a difficult time adjusting to their foster home taking them almost a week before they would touch their food! So we want to be sure their next home is forever.
