Berta came to us as a stray, so her past is a mystery. What we do know is that she's been let down more times than she ever deserved. When she first arrived, she was timid, overwhelmed, and quick to hide-her safe way of coping with a world that hadn't been kind to her.
But with patience, quiet moments, and gentle encouragement, Berta has begun to trust again. Slowly, her true personality has started to shine. When she feels comfortable, she'll stretch out long and relaxed, inviting soft pets and leaning into every bit of affection. Her purrs rumble with gratitude, as if she's finally remembering what it feels like to be loved.
Berta is a tender, sensitive soul who notices the small things-your calm voice, your slow movements, your willingness to let her open up at her own pace. She's blossoming into a sweet, gentle companion who has so much love to give once she feels safe.
She's been waiting so patiently for someone special to see beyond her initial shyness and discover the wonderful, loyal friend she truly is. Whoever earns Berta's trust will gain a companion with a heart full of quiet, unconditional love. Primary Color: Torbie Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.98 Age: 2yrs 6mths 0wks
