With good care, FIV+ cats can live 10-15+ years and may never show symptoms or have serious health issues!
- FIV is ONLY spread to other cats (not people or dogs) through bite wounds. It is not spread through grooming, sharing food/water bwols, or cuddling.
- They should be kept indoors only. This protects them from infections as FIV causes a weakend immune system, and other cats from possible transmission.
