Bruce is a big-hearted dog who loves to cuddle. He is a border collie lab mix. He’s about 70lbs and strong. We think he is about 2. He has shown reactivity to other dogs and some resource guarding, but has been getting better after consistency and working with a trainer, but he will need continued support and patience. Because of this, we do not recommend a home with other dogs, cats, or very young children at this time. He’s happiest when he is with his people. He enjoys walking and hiking, playing, and the river. He has done well when off leash with dogs, but struggles when he is in a fence or on leash at times. He’s a wonderful companion for someone active, patient, and familiar with strong, intelligent breeds. He truly is a loving, loyal, funny dog, and it breaks our hearts to let him go. But we want what’s best for him—and that means finding the right home where he can be his best self.
