My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Kiki was brought in by her previous owner

Why Kiki might be the one for you:
Meet Kiki, a volunteer favorite with a whole lot of love to give! Kiki loves calm and tranquility - she is past the need for action in her life. She is a sweet lady who wants to relax and purr. She likes her alone time, but is also friendly and enjoys receiving affection. She leans in for pets all over and even enjoys being brushed! Be ready for some serious head bunts as she leans into your hand and shows you where she wants your pets and when she wants you to stop (never). Kiki will thrive in a calm, quiet environment. She does have hypothyroidism, which will require lifelong medication to keep her happy and healthy. If you're ready to offer this lovely lady the tranquility she craves, she will reward you with loyal companionship. Inquire about adopting her today!

At SDHS:
Kiki has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
