My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Charlie and he is a HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS dog! If adopted before January 1, his adoption fee is fully waived and he becomes part of your family for free! Charlie is five-years-old and weighs 50 lb. Take your guess at his breed mix...lab, hound, a little boxer?? We like to call this kind of dog an All-American Rescue! Charlie is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Charlie is an all around great dog. He is very friendly and wants to get to know everybody he meets. Charlie is housetrained, loves to go on walks, likes car rides, but when it's time to curl up on the couch, he's all in. Charlie loves to cuddle. He does need some leash training because he likes to run after little critters. Charlie has a medium energy level and is food motivated. He is definitely one of the easiest fosters I've ever had. I think Charlie will make a great family dog and will be good with kids of any age." Charlie is dog and cat friendly! Charlie is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered and healthy. If you would like to meet/adopt Charlie, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org with questions. Charlie can't wait to meet you!
