Adoptable Rubena is a sweet brown tabby kitten girl, with soft brown fur and tabby stripes, who was born in early April. She is sweet and playful, and is fascinated with straws - if you happen to have a drink with a straw in it, Rubena will find it and claim it! She loves to chase and wrestle, and enjoys playing with toy mice and wand toys.

Rubena has access to the One Fast Cat Wheel in her foster home, and likes to go for walks on it, by herself or with her sister, Ruthie. Rubena is very affectionate to her foster family, and head-butts gently for attention, or nuzzles into an elbow for cuddles. She also likes to crawl under the covers and curl up next to her foster mom - she’s ready for winter snuggles!

Rubena has become good friends with her foster brother, Sawyer, and has stepped into her role as “big sister” with grace and love. She taught him how to wrestle, chase, and have fun. She doesn’t mind it when he tackles her unexpectedly, and shares her food without complaint. They are a wonderful pair, and would like to find a home together! They both have good appetites, are friendly and affectionate, and would bring a lifetime of love and joy to a lucky family!

All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply!

All of our cats/kittens are in foster homes throughout DuPage County. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance.
