Meet Cupcake — A Devoted Mama Who’s Ready to Be Someone’s Baby

Everyone wants a kitten—but we hope you’ll take a moment to fall in love with a cat who already knows how to love back.

Cupcake is a gorgeous tiger and white girl with an estimated birthday of March 20, 2024, weighing in at around 9 pounds. She came to us pregnant and gave birth to her kittens—Sprinkles and Sparkles—while in our care. She even adopted a third orphan, Spumoni, and raised him as her own. All three of her babies have since been adopted. Now, it’s Cupcake’s turn.

This sweet girl gave her all to motherhood. She was patient, nurturing, and incredibly devoted to her kittens from day one. She’s a quiet, gentle soul who took her job seriously, and she raised a trio of confident, happy kittens. After months of being "Mom," Cupcake is just starting to figure out who she is outside of that role—and we can’t wait to see her blossom.

Cupcake is: Spayed; Tested negative for FeLV/FIV; Up to date on all vaccinations; Treated for fleas and worms & has a negative fecal test.

Now that her babies are gone, she’s getting used to the busy energy of the shelter, which is understandably a big adjustment. She tends to keep to herself, quietly observing from a cozy perch. She likes people—she just takes her time warming up. She’s kind to the other cats, never starting drama, but you can tell she’s dreaming of a peaceful home where she can finally be the center of someone’s world.

We have so many incredible mama cats like Cupcake—cats who gave everything to their kittens and are now often overlooked for the babies they raised. But these mamas are special. They’re gentle, wise, affectionate, and so very ready to be loved.
