Ranger entered the shelter I worked at in January of 2017 and was full grown at the time, so he is at least 9 years old. He was adopted out but then picked back up as a stray after being hit by a car in 2018. The veterinarian I worked for did his FHO surgery and I (vet tech) fostered him and did his physical therapy (you would never know he had been hit by a car by looking at him now). After months of fostering him, I finalized his adoption. I already had two female dogs which he got along fine with and over the years I fostered many, many more (kittens, puppies, etc.) which he also did fine with. Ranger loves to sunbathe and play fetch. We also have a three year old who he is fantastic with, and we have our friends kids over all the time and there have never been any issues with children. He also responds to Bubba and Bubs.
