Meet Archie!

This 19 lb bundle of scruffy love just arrived from a rescue in Virginia that sadly had to close its doors. Archie is a 12-year-young Silkie Terrier who’s fully vetted, neutered, and up to date on all his shots — all he’s missing is a warm home and a loving heart to call his own.

Don’t let his age fool you — Archie still has plenty of pep in his step and a lot of love to give. He’s leash trained, rides well in the car, and loves his toys almost as much as he loves a cozy lap. Archie is the definition of a lap pet — calm, loyal, and happiest curled up beside you.

He does not like baths (we get it, buddy), but we promise his scruffy charm is worth the occasional splash zone.

Currently fostered in North Carolina

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
