What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We took in a cat who came crying for help at our door. We had seen him around for over a year, and suspect he belonged to neighbors who abandoned him. At some point he was TNR'd and his ear clipped.
He has been in our home for a few months now, and is definitely an indoor cat, and he just desperately wants to be around people. He is one of the nicest cats we have ever met - very smart, very gentle, obeys commands and very eager to please. He can roughhouse without using teeth or claws at all.
We got him fully checked out at the vet--vaccinated dewormed, everything--hoping to help him get adopted. Unfortunately, he is FIV , which any prospective adopter will have to be aware of.
We've been calling him Mr. Rogers since we found him in our neighborhood.
