My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Meimei**, the gentle brown and white tabby with a heart full of love and the sweetest soul you'll ever meet. This beautiful girl is all about calm vibes, cozy spaces, and quiet companionship. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll melt your heart with her affection—especially when she starts giving you soft little headbutts to ask for more pets.

Meimei absolutely adores people and thrives on gentle attention. She’s happiest in a peaceful home where she can relax, unwind, and be your one-and-only furry best friend. Other pets tend to make her nervous, so she’s looking for a solo gig where she can soak up all the love (and head rubs!) just for herself.

If you're dreaming of a sweet, loyal companion to share quiet mornings and warm evenings, Meimei is ready to fill your home with purrs and tender moments.

The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around July 15th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet.

Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.

Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care.

We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport.

Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption.

We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
