Forever Home Needed for Lokie!

Meet Lokie, a handsome brindle pit with a chill attitude and a heart full of love. This easygoing guy is looking for a foster home where he can relax, enjoy some company, and be his best laid-back self.

Lokie does great with kids, cats, and small dogs, and he walks like a pro on a leash. He’s not demanding — he just wants to hang out, go with the flow, and be part of the crew.

If you’re looking for a mellow, well-mannered buddy to share your space with, Lokie’s your guy.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
