Thackery Binx — just like his sister Mary — was rescued the night before Halloween last year. He came in as a tiny black-and-white kitten, curious but unsure, and quickly blossomed into the gentle, loving boy he is today thanks to the safety and care of his foster home.

Now at 1 year old, Binx is brave, affectionate, and wonderfully mellow. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand the spotlight — he just quietly becomes your favorite part of the day. He loves exploring cozy corners, relaxing for long naps, and settling beside his humans like he belongs there… because he does.

Binx is playful in that sweet, soft way — a little pounce here, a toy chase there — but his true superpower is how calming he is to be around. He’s gentle, easygoing, and full of that steady, loyal love that makes a house feel like home.

And the part that gets us? Binx has spent his whole life in rescue. He’s watched younger kittens come and go, one after another, while he keeps waiting. Waiting for someone to look past “just another black-and-white cat” and see what he really is: a calm, devoted companion who’s ready to be someone’s whole world.

Binx doesn’t need anything fancy. He just needs a family who will choose him on purpose — and mean it. A couch to nap on, a safe home, and a heart that won’t give up on him.
