My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Italian meaning: Apple

Tabby Facts:
Tabby is a coat pattern, not a breed. Characterized by stripes, spots, or whorls and the distinctive “M” mark on the forehead.

Tabby Patterns:
Classic, Mackerel, Spotted, Ticked and Patched

Social and Affectionate
Intelligent and Curious
Adaptable and Loyal
Approximately 80% of domestic cats today have some form of tabby marking.

ALL orange cats are tabby’s.

This sweet girl is Mela, she was the mom of 3 biological kittens and 5 foster kittens. Mela was an amazing mom, and is still waiting for her fur-ever home. All her kittens and foster kittens have been adopted.

Mela is a 1-year-old brown tabby with a short coat and stunning green eyes. Mela is a sweet girl. She loves napping and snacking. Mela gets along great with roommates. She pretty much stays to herself and doesn’t really cause any issues. Mela likes attention and will search you out for pets. (She LOVES being called a pretty girl.)

Mela is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Mela would be good by herself, but she would also be good with another feline friend. She was an amazing mom and is a very calm, sweet cat. Mela has been with us for over 160 days. Can you be the purr-fect family for Mela?

Go meet their pets

Once your application has been approved, we will disclose the private address of the Foster who has the animal you're interested in. Our hours are based on our founder's availability, but it truly depends on the foster's schedule. Our fosters are all located in northwestern Wisconsin, and Shelli can be present if requested or she is available if the foster isn't herself.
